Relax. You're cruising on the Danube, and worries don't exist on this fine-looking waterway. Germany, Austria or Hungary? You don't have to choose. You'll get to explore all three on this 8-day cruise that is part small town, part big city and all parts good times. Regensburg's Old Town has an open- air cafe feel and the highest density of pubs and bars in Germany (and that's no small feat). Austria's Wachau Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage site if we've ever seen one - its Benedictine Abbey houses the most famous library in Northern Europe. Hungary's lively capital city o?ers double the fun, with Buda on one side and Pest on the other. And that's just the beginning.

DAY 1 - REGENSBURG
INCLUDED
This one's for the students. Head to Regensburg at sunset and experience the youthful buzz of Old Town, home to some of the best nightlife in all of Deutschland. Kick things off with a host-escorted walk, stopping at the city’s famous churches and aristocratic houses from the 13th and 14th centuries. Then if the weather’s nice, head to the Stone Bridge to eat, drink and mingle under the moonlight. Regensburg comes alive at night, as you will see.

DAY 2 - STRAUBING & PASSAU
INCLUDED
Join your host on a stroll through the medieval streets of Straubing, a quintessential small town in Bavaria, Germany. Check out the count’s castle and the beautiful Renaissance cemetery behind the Church of St. Peter. Pose for a picture next to the best-preserved Roman armor north of the Alps. Explore the oval-shaped town square and enjoy a hearty Bavarian lunch in one of the surrounding inns. For dessert, try a slice of Agnes Bernauer cake. You can thank us after. Note that some locations and venues may be closed on Sundays.

INCLUDED NIGHT OUT
Passau's old town is a pedestrian-friendly hot spot for food, drink and good times. Step right off the ship and follow your nose to one of the city's great pubs or bars. In the summertime, people gather on the shores of the Inn River, one of three meeting in Passau, to chat, drink and eat, or play volleyball or soccer. Get some exercise, then treat yourself to some hearty pub cuisine. After, head to a Bavarian beer garden for a true Passau experience. Celebrate good times. Come on.

U TIME (Optional)
Rise and shine! Join your local expert on a walk through Straubing and spend your morning like a true local by taking part in Frühschoppen. This German tradition will have you trying delicious beer, sausages, breads and homemade spreads in a local beer garden

Head to the Historic Center of Vienna, an area rich in architecture, including Baroque castles, gardens and late -19th-century Ringstrasse lined with grand buildings, monuments and parks. The best way to wake up in the morning is with a tour of beautiful Vienna.

Looking for a night out on the town? Perfect. Your U Host will show you some of the coolest night time spots in Vienna! First, you’ll head to Stephansplatz, a glorious architectural setting and popular meeting up spot for many locals. Then you’ll work your way through the alleyways of the so-called Bermuda Triangle where most night owls stay forever. There are cocktails bars, beer pubs, nightclubs and lots of live music in this famous hotspot. And if you haven’t stopped off for a drink anywhere yet, the tour will conclude around the Danube Canal, where many waterside “beach” bars form a lively social scene every evening. This will be a night to remember!

U TIME (Optional)
Your guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace - the former summer residence of the imperial family - includes the staterooms and private apartments of Empress Maria Theresa. Maria Theresa Schönbrunn made it the focus of court life. Today, it plays host to the highest-level politicians in all of Europe. And now - you.

U TIME (Optional)
Do as the locals do and hop on the inner-city metro to your next adventure (metro pass included). Just a few stops away, this in-depth tour of Vienna begins in Karlsplatz. Follow your Local Guide towards Charles Church, which is widely considered the most outstanding Baroque church in Vienna, and that’s no easy feat! Continue along the famous Ringstrasse to see one of the city’s four famous opera houses and The Albertina Museum. Then, make your way to the beautiful and shaded Burggarten for a quick cool down before continuing your adventure! After you’ve had a moment’s rest, walk into the inner city to Bräunerstraße, where your guide will show you the best cafés and bars that locals frequent. Sample cheeses, wines and delicious palatschinken! Finally, amble over to the iconic (and gorgeous) St. Stephen’s Cathedral. And now your crash course tour of Vienna is over!
